About "Deportation" (7:40 min.)

The six children are all deported from Denmark, but in different ways. The ship Wartheland departs from Langlinie in Copenhagen with Birgit and Salle and their families on board, along with many other Jews who were arrested by the occupation forces. Bjørn, Jytte, Poul and Rachel are first sent to the Horserød Camp in North Zealand, where the Nazis hold a group of Jews as prisoners. Then, they are also deported to the concentration camp Theresienstadt. At some point, they are all travelling through Europe in crowded cattle wagons. The wagons are so crowded that they cannot lie down; there is no toilet and no food. After several days, the train stops – they have arrived in Theresienstadt.
